Good Morning Cavalier Families,
This week at Dayton Creek was truly inspiring as our Cavaliers stepped up as empowered leaders! In classrooms, students showed both their commitment to learning and their growth in leadership. We celebrated our first Leader in Me Awards Assembly of the year. With DCES families, our very own BOLT, and the Spring Hill Dazzler Dance Team joining us, the celebration of our young leaders was extra special. Congratulations again to all of our Habit 1: Be Proactive awardees!
Progress Reports
Mid-quarter progress reports were sent home with students on Friday, offering a snapshot of their academic performance, including outcomes from both classroom and district assessments completed so far. We encourage parents to review these reports and reach out to teachers if you need any further information or clarification regarding your child’s progress and learning journey.

Wonderful Watch M.O.M. Thank you so much for volunteering!
After a basic discussion on the three branches of government, our 3rd Graders participated in a grade level appropriate mock trial as part of the Constitution Day event offered to every third-grade class nationwide!
Constitution Day with Chief Sutterby: He had a wonderful visit reading to our K-2nd Graders and talking about the role of our police department in supporting our community. He received thank you notes from the 5th Graders as well that he will share with the rest of the police department.
Our 1st Graders finished their Plains Indians Unit with a wonderful presentation from the Ernie Miller Nature Center. The students learned all about the Plains Indians’ way of life and even had the chance to help build a tipi!
