Whether you're reading with a student, chaperoning a field trip, or assisting at a school event, your time and talents make a meaningful impact!

Getting started as a registered volunteer is simple! Just follow these steps: (1) Review the Spring Hill School District Volunteer Ethics, Procedures, and Guidelines, (2) Fill out the registration form below, and (3) Complete a background check. Once you’ve received your Secure Volunteer Card, you’re all set to go!

Note: If you’re only observing (like at a holiday party or school parade) and have minimal interaction with students, no need to complete the full registration process. We can’t wait to welcome you aboard!

PART 3: Background Check

To meet the background check requirement, we use Secure Volunteer powered by BIB. This background check is good for USD230 volunteers for three (3) school years. The cost for a background check is $14.95, and we offer either self-pay (you submit secure payment by card directly to BIB) or district-pay (USD230 covers the cost of the background check for you).
